Recent film reviews 2

Another round up review of new films I've recently seen that I think are worthy enough of being mentioned.
Here is my last round up review

The Switch (2010)
Don't judge me I adored this film. Jennifer Anniston wasn't annoying like she has been for the last few years and I adore Jason Bateman. Everything about The Switch was adorable.

The Accidental Tourist
(1988)

Sweet touching drama

Serendipity (2001)
Adorable and one of my favourite Romantic films. Predictable yes but cute cute cute

Tamara Drewe
(2010)

Was worth the wait, one of the best British comedy dramas in a long time.

Burke and Hare
(2010)

Great cast, lots of giggles but nothing too incredible

Date Night (2010)
Funny but irritating. Again lovable cast.

William & Kate (TV Movie)
(2011)

It's bad enough that I've watched this, I kinda found it cute. I like the Prince and love Kate. Actors are annoying but gorgeous but it's just down right rubbish.

The Other Guys
(2010)

Great one liners.

Single White Female
(1992)

Creepy but good. Would never ever watch again but it's definitely one of the best Thrillers I've ever seen.

The Soloist (2009)
Lovely true story, Jamie Foxx is the best I've ever seen possibly but drags a bit.

Batman Forever (1995)
Not the worse but certainly not the best. I'm always going to love Batman though.

Recent film reviews

Here are some films I've watched for the first time in the past month or so either DVD or on the TV.
Additionally I'm trying to prove that I can give a more varied film rating other than 3, 4 and 5 stars. But it's not my fault everything I've seen this year at the cinema is good.

Bringing Up Baby (1938)
Fantastic, flawless, ridiculously funny. Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn are perfect.

Sex and the City 2 (2010)
Same old, same old.

The Greatest (2009)
Nothing special at all. Emotional, deep storyline but lacked everything else.

Casino Royale (2006)
The first James Bond film I've watched and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Quantum Of Solace (2008)
Slightly boring but Daniel Craig didn't go wrong.

Leap Year (2010)
Predictable, not funny and just poor. (But I do adore Amy Adams)

Fish Tank (2009)
Utterly brilliant and so powerful. Strong story and bold acting.

Two For The Road (1967)
Characterless plot but very cute.

The Big Lebowski (1998)
Hilarious and Jeff Bridges never fails. Rest of cast is brilliant too.

Winter's Bone (2010)
Cinematography is simply stunning , Jennifer Lawrence gives a top notch performance and the storyline is astounding.

Little Women (1994)
Beautiful story and some of my favourite actors in one of their best roles. It's a cute film that I enjoyed very much.

Get Him To The Greek (2010)
Funny, witty and enjoyable.

Due Date (2010)
Perfectly cast and utterly hilarious.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)
An iconic film that will forever remain one of the top road trip films. John Candy is a legendary actor.

PS: If you could kindly take my poll on the right of my blog it would be lovely. Thanks.
